The International Beauty Show is stepping out in New York for the 108th time in March with new, updated, and returning features for business owners, solopreneurs, and beauty and grooming professionals alike.
Once again, the industry-only show is taking place alongside the International Esthetics, Cosmetics, & Spa Conference (IECSC); admission to one gets full access to the other. Both 2025 shows are held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center from March 23-35, with early registration pricing available through midnight on Friday, Jan. 17.
Here are the details of the glow-up happening at the world’s longest-running beauty event, presented by Questex and in partnership with American Salon.
What’s New
Business District — A dedicated zone on the show floor between the beauty and spa events is the new hotspot for business-building tools and info aimed at beauty and wellness independents, brand founders, and the owners of salons, spas, and barbershops.
Premium & VIP Passes — This upcycled admission option gets the attendee combined educational sessions, 3-day admission to both expo floors, fast-track badge pickup, and an exclusive swag bag.
“American Salon Presents” — Professional classes specially curated by American Salon based on current trends and hot topics in the beauty industry.
What’s Updated
Glam & Go Showcase Stage — This is a revamped, bigger and better version of the crowd-pleasing Look & Learn Stage of yore. A new LED digital background will be key for the audience to better follow A-list names in the industry teaching new, trending, and innovative techniques.
Powerhouse Pavilion — The experience area celebrating the Black beauty market has a broader educational focus in 2025, as a dynamic classroom with panel discussions hosted by leading barber educator, school owner, and activist Rodrick Samuels.

What’s Coming Back
The Fades & Blades Barber Battle — The wildly popular barbering competition was last held at the International Beauty Show-NY in 2019 — because during the following March of 2020 … ahhh, we’ll let you fill in the rest of that sentence.
The contest is back on at the Javits Center for the first time since the andemic-pay, with upgraded prizes and production value. It’s a Total Look competition that must include color, cut, style, and wardrobe.
