Tricoci University Launches High School Outreach Program

Tricoci University of Beauty Culture has launched a new outreach program for high school students interested in beauty careers.

The Midwestern cosmetology school franchise calls its new brand, Tricoci Forward, "a supportive entry point for young creatives to explore the career paths the beauty industry has to offer."

The program offers resources on beauty careers, Tricoci education courses and events, scholarship opportunities, and personalized support in applying for admission and financial aid.

"Tricoci Forward is about helping the next generation discover their power, creativity, and potential,” says Angela Howard, regional director of Admissions and Education Partnerships.

“This is a university with a holistic approach that is not only skill-based but focused on teaching students how to start a business, build a brand, and grow as confident communicators."

The program is kicking off its high-school outreach efforts with Next Gen Beauty Camp, a three-day training and mentorship camp that culminates in a student showcase. It's offered at the Tricoci campuses in Indianapolis, IN; Normal, IL; and Elgin, IL. Applications open April 21, 2025 with limited spots available.

It has also launched a new TUBC High School Scholarship that awards $3,500 towards tuition for a Tricoci education course. The first round of scholarships are open to students graduating high school in 2025 and plan to start classes within the calendar year.

Tricoci offers beauty and barbering training programs in 15 campuses across Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
